Rolls-Royce Wraith Drifting In A Garden

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is the most powerful car Rolls-Royce had ever built. The 6.6 twin-turbo V12 found under its hood produces a total output of 623bhp and 590 lb·ft of torque, enough power to give the 2.3 tonnes luxury castle on wheel supercar rivaling performance. Rolls-Royce had also tuned the suspension in the Wraith to make it the best handling Roll-Royce in the company’s history. But how does it fare as a rally car? Lamborghini Asterion Pictures Leaked

Lamborghini’s teaser last week got the world wondering what would the Italian manufacturer bring to the Paris 2014 Mondial de l’Automobile. Numerous renderings had surfaced since the teaser was released but lately, pictures of the upcoming Lamborghini concept car had been found leaked in a magazine. Despite the poor quality of the pictures, the car in the picture shows distinctive Lamborghini design language. There are rumours suggesting that Lamborghini may name this concept car the Asterion, the Greek mythology name for hybrid between man and bull as Lamborghini recently applied to trademark the name on September 15 featuring a lightning bolt through the ‘o’ in the Asterion word. It was also speculated that Lamborghini will unveil the Asterion at the upcoming Paris 2014 Mondial de l’Automobile alongside a second new car which will be positioned above the Aventador.

For their latest race, they had all 10 contenders from Motor Trend’s 2014 Best Driver’s Car which includes the Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI & Volkswagen Golf GTI lined up on an abandoned airstrip at El Toro Marine Base to find out which car is the fastest. Ferrari Announced The New Ferrari 458 Speciale A

Ferrari had officially announced the Ferrari 458 Speciale A (A as in Aperta) ahead of its world debut at the upcoming 2014 Paris Motor Show. Limited to just 499 units, the 458 Speciale A is the most powerful spider in Prancing Horse history. The Ferrari 458 Speciale A has the same aluminium retractable hard top as the 458 Italia Spider which only requires a mere 14 seconds to deploy or retract. The lightweight aluminium roof also means that the Ferrari 458 Speciale A is only 50KG heavier than its coupé sibling. The Ferrari 458 Speciale A shares the identical performance hardwares as the Speciale coupé and is capable of completing the century sprint in just 3.0 seconds as well as the ability to lap Fiorano in 1’23”5. Ferrari had premiered the 458 Speciale A in a unique triple-layer yellow livery with a Blu Nart and Bianco Avus central stripe as well as five-spoke forged wheels in Grigio Corsa. Ferrari had also replaced the finish of the dash, the moulded door panels, treadplates and central tunnel in an exclusive blue carbon-fibre. Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider Spotted Without Any Camouflage

After being spotted testing outside the outside the Ferrari factory in Maranello numerous times under camouflage, the world finally got a glimpse of the upcoming Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider as Cars and Business had recently shared two photos of a yellow 458 Speciale Spider without any camouflage on the internet. The photos show that the yellow 458 Speciale Spider has the identical metal folding roof found in the normal 458 Italia Spider matched to the more aggressive body of the 458 Speciale Coupe with a Blu Nart stripe running along its body. The rear spoiler also appears to be finished in dark blue, not in the car’s body colour as the 458 Speciale Coupe. It was speculated that Ferrari will officially launch the 458 Speciale Spider at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. Stay with us for more updates.

Lamborghini Releases New Teaser For Paris 2014 Mondial de l’Automobile

Lamborghini had released a new teaser for the upcoming Paris 2014 Mondial de l’Automobile with the caption ‘Once perfection is achieved, you can just double it’. The caption strongly suggests that Lamborghini could be bring a new four door concept or model to be shown at the Mondial de l’Automobile. A side cooling vent visible in the teaser photo also suggests that the engine in the new model may be placed in the middle or the rear. Stay with us for more updates soon.

Hong Kong Tycoon Stephen Hung Commissions A Fleet Of 30 Bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantoms

Hong Kong tycoon Stephen Hung had recently commissioned a fleet of 30 bespoke Extended Wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantoms from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars for his upcoming Louis XIII Hotel and Casino in Macau to chauffeur wealthy guests around town. The deal, valued at $20 million will make Stephen Hung the owner of the largest single-order Rolls-Royce Phantom fleet in the world. Each of the 30 Extended Wheelbase Phantoms will be custom-designed by Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke Vehicles Team and will feature unique interior accents and features. Two of the 30 cars in the fleet will feature additional internal and external gold accents, making the pair the most expensive Phantoms ever commissioned. All 30 Rolls-Royce Phantoms in the Louis XIII fleet will feature bespoke timekeeping by Graff Luxury Watches. Rolls-Royce will also be assisting in the design of the hotel’s driveway and training the hotel’s chauffeurs to handle the fleet.

New Porsche Cayman 211 And Boxter 211 Now Available In Belgium

Like what its Norwegian counterpart did four years ago, Porsche Belgium is now offering a new entry level variant of the Porsche Cayman and Boxter call the 211. Although Stuttgart had yet to confirm the news, Porsche Belgium had listed both cars on their official website. As the name suggests, the new variant of both cars will have only 211bhp under the hood. However, the Cayman and Boxter 211 was not powered by a new four cylinder engine as rumoured but a detuned version of the 2.7 liter flax-six found in the normal Cayman and Boxter. Porsche Belgium claims that the detuned engine would not affect the overall performance of both car much with the Cayman 211 completing the century dash in 6.2 seconds before topping out at 246km/h and Boxter 211 completing the century dash in 6.1 seconds and topping out at around 245km/h. It was speculated that Porsche Belgium detuned the engine with the similar objective as Porsche Norway’s: to reduce import taxation.

Lamborghini Aventador Sets Itself On Fire

The Lamborghini Aventador is a furious V12 monster well known for spitting fire from its rear. While shooting huge flames from the hot exhaust may look great on camera, the car catching fire does not, as demonstrated by this black Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. The driver of this black Aventador was revving his car to put on a show at an Asian wedding when the huge flames from the Aventador’s exhaust set the rear bumper on fire. It was unclear that the flames continued to burn on the bumper due to cleaning product residues left on the bumper or due to poor quality car wraps.

DMC Mercedes-Benz G500/G65 AMG ‘EXTREM’

German exotic car tuner DMC Tuning had unveiled their latest monster, a 700bhp Mercedes-Benz G-Class known as the DMC G-Class ‘EXTREM’. Based on the Mercedes-Benz G500/G65 AMG, the DMC G-Class ‘EXTREM’ package includes new wider wing fenders and bumpers to give the bold G-Class a more desirable masculine appearance. The DMC G-Class ‘EXTREM’ also receives a new dry carbon rear spoiler to create more downforce and a dry carbon vented front hood to allow the upgraded 700bhp engine to breath well. The DMC G-Class ‘EXTREM’ comes with a choice of forged alloy wheels ranging from 23” to 25” with Pirelli P-Zero tyres for better grip. To match the upgraded exterior and performance, the interior also receives a makeover with exotic materials such as fine leather and carbon fiber.
